Houseone
Houseone makes sustainable container homes accessible to people stuck on housing waiting lists.

We founded Houseone in 2017 from a simple observation: waiting times for social housing stretch to ten years, while container homes have long been affordable, sustainable, and quick to place. What was missing was an appealing product people actually want to live in.
Houseone builds container homes that don't look like emergency solutions. Modern interiors, energy-efficient insulation, flexible layouts, homes you consciously choose, not homes you fall back on.
Within a short time, over nine hundred registrations came in. That confirmed what we suspected: the demand is there. The challenge lies in permits, locations, and financing, and that's the challenge we're taking on.
The housing crisis isn't a shortage of will, it's a shortage of scalable solutions. Houseone proves the demand is there. Now it's about execution.
A concept that scales without constant new land investment
Understanding of planning dynamics per municipality and region
Demand validation before production, registrations beat assumptions
Impact on the waiting list problem, not just the luxury segment
